 Courtyard Marriott Great Valley/Malvern

Today, we are featuring a local hotel, The Courtyard Marriott       Great Valley/Malvern, and asked their Sales Manager, Kaitlyn,  about the hotel itself, as well as advice for couples who are  booking hotel blocks.

What do you think makes you stand out from other area hotels?

“This is a great question, and one that couples very rarely ask, but they should! There are two parts of our hotel that make us stand out. The first part is everything leading up to the big day. I work very hard to stay in touch with couples and ensure the process is seamless! For example, we offer a custom reservation link for ease in reservation making and it’s just as easy for those tech savvy couples who have a website, the link can be simply added to their site! In addition, each month couples will receive a pickup report from me personally of how many rooms within their block are picked up.

The second part of what makes our hotel stand out is the experience from the moment the couples and their guests arrive at the hotel to check-in! We are in the top 15% in service for all Courtyards by Marriott, and work very hard each and every moment to maintain that standard. Any hotel can offer services such as a shuttle or complimentary suite, but a fantastic experience can be overlooked”.

What amenities do you offer clients?

“We offer a great deal of amenities for the couples and their guests! We have a shuttle on-site for guests to get safely back and forth from the venue. We realize how important it is to extend the wedding into a full weekend, so we offer pre- and post- wedding celebrations including plenty of breakfast and brunch options. Can’t forget a complimentary suite for the newlyweds to end their special day!”.

What advice do you have for engaged couples who need to coordinate their hotel room blocks?

“That is a fantastic question! I wish I had someone to guide me through this when I was planning my own wedding! Schedule an appointment to tour and see the hotel. I highly suggest couples book their hotel blocks as soon as they book the venue. Generally, the earlier you block your rooms, the better rate you will receive as well as the chance the hotel will have availability. Last but not least, look at your invite list to get an accurate number of rooms you need. Be realistic when you are putting aside rooms for your guests and keep in mind people will be staying together!
